K4A - Partners for Care Day
12th and 13th June 2010 - Malindi (Kenya)
Evaluation of this event:
Rosemary said: "Medical camp finished and officially
more than 1000 patients seen and 500 tested for HIV... I
am so proud of everyone who participated one way or
another: you did great guys"
She continues: "The event was a huge success, we were able to hand
out 1500 mosquito nets. Next event will probably in
Naivasha. We are hoping to distribute 2000 nets. We are
searching for well-wishers and sponsors for this event."

What we wrote earlier:
An organisation by the name Partners For Care will be
holding a medical camp in watamu on 12th and 13th June
With the rains, cases of malaria and diarrhoea have been
on the rise.
The good news is the local community will get all the
medical care free of charge and they have 1500 mosquito
nets to distribute to all.
We need more organisations like this one in our country
who can help the local communties live better health
To encourage the youth to come they have organised a
football and volleyball league and winners will be given
trophies, uniforms and shoes on top of the health
education. What more can we ask for?
